But what makes it special is the outstanding customer service: always-friendly check-in, super-easy check-out (which, brilliantly, even asks if you are out of your room once you have officially checked out online), mid-stay checks to make sure everything is ok, all of it. I've been commuting into State College for 15 years, have tried every hotel under the sun after watching them being built when I lived there, and this is by far my favorite."

"My first impression was it seemed empty. Not a lot of cars in the parking lot and upon entering looked quiet. Renovations definitely going on. The room was definitely recently done and was sparkling clean. Only negative was the walls are pretty thin so you hear every door closing. Great staff. Very helpful with every question. Left something behind and called. They were very responsive in trying to help us out and called me back to let me know they located the item. "
