"Very sad upgrades to say it is the Penn State University. And Football Season and the huge price hikes should be able to cover any updates or upgrades needed to remain at the PSU Standard. Staff and restaurant was great. Loved the special Chocolate Chip cookies but use the Doubletree standard for the cookie experience so to not appear second rate Kmart vs Walmart."

"We drove down on a Thursday to go to my nieces a Special Olympics event that they held at the Penn State University. The Days inn was only a mile from where we had to go and everything was clean, the staff was very friendly and very helpful when we had a concern or problem would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel and will stay at this hotel again in the future."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Carnegie House. The property was beautiful and well designed, and it had a warm, homey feeling, partly because of the friendly regulars who made it feel welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very nice. The food was good, the bar was well stocked, and the fire pit was a relaxing place to spend time. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would definitely stay again if I were passing through."

"Staff was great, very helpful and friendly! Pool was closed so we didn’t get to use that this weekend, but everything else was clean and well maintained. The layout was easy to navigate and the rooms were set up well. Great water pressure for my thick haired girlies (and guys)and it got HOT for those who like to boil! "If we pass by again we will definitely be staying here! Front desk attendant was very accommodating after we found out our AC was not working and moved us to another room. He also gave us vouchers to cover meals up to $30. Unfortunately, with how busy it was having a wedding party there we were unable to get dinner so we had to find food elsewhere off the property Otherwise it was a great stay!"
