"A lovely resort. The pool is exceptional. Very clean with nice private bungalows. The food was good and there were excellent touches such as a bird watching walk, and afternoon tea. Delicious food in the restaurant. Beach was very nice. "

"Remember, this is not about a 5 star stay. This is a family home near the beach. Jimmy, his wife and his son Emile, offer a delightful, 'all we can do to help' environment. "Absolutely phenomenal property. There is a lot to do from fishing and kayaking to pottery and cultural programs. The staff too was exceptional. I regret not getting staff members names as they were very thoughtful and helpful. Highly recommend spending a few days at this resort."
"Amritara Beach Symphony is a little paradise. I loved my bungalow and enjoyed being close to the public beach where local families turn out to watch the sunset and fishermen haul in their catch in the morning. The pool is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was attentive and helpful and arranged an amazing sunrise backwater boat tour. It felt like home-- would definitely stay again! Expedia needs to remove some of the older reviews for this spot as they don't reflect current...
"A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together.
The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!"

"A great heritage place to stay for a few days of exploring Alleppy, beaches and the backwaters, located across a local road by the massive beach. Hotel is a lovely well maintained old traditional building with a swimming pool and restaurant. Paid a bit more for a large traditional room with a large shared lounge and outside seating area next to the pool. Great restaurant and chef with a good menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner also serving alcohol. Guys in the restaurant very helpful...
