I can see why it was a Novotel :)
The hotel may look old on the outside. But the lobby was beautiful. The room was really spacious but well finished. I do not mind to stay longer in this hotel As part of my business trip

facilities were pretty run down. Location was great, near shopping district and ferry terminal. place was clean but not spotless. staff was very accomodating.

The overall security were very good, i like that every vehicle that goes in will have to go through undercarriage screening, the security officer was also polite and attentive. All of the counter staff and door staff were very friendly and helpful. However the facilities were abit dated and old, like gym equipments and swimming pool's location is not that good. It is not walkable to the nearby malls as well as there are no walking paths outside of the hotel.

An average hotel at afforadable rate
Hotel hardware is a bit old but acceptable at this afforable rate. Breakfast is a good spread especially during weekend. Very near harbor bay ferry terminal. Hotel provide free shuttle. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Esp Ms Wani.

Breakfast is good. Gym is OK although are old equipment. Room looks modern except that the bathtub is not cleaned. There are mosquitos, guess coming from outside the hotel.

The room was supposed to be clean! When I went in, the bed has a lot of hair on the pillows and the floor too. The bathtub was rundown. The balcony has no chair or table. But one thing good, the staff is helpful!

VERY ENJOYABLE STAY for 4days
Our overall review is very good. Only setback was that we suffered from diarrhea after eating some spoilt shrimps and water melon at the BBQ dinner which was highly recommended and hard sell by the Lodge staff. We had camping stomach and diarrhea for 3 times in our room after the dinner. For the spoilage of the 2 items, we had caught different chef for their information and they did apologised. Well we just count it as our bad luck.

The hotel is located 5 mins drive from ferry terminal Harbour Bay. The hotel looks new. The pillows not cleaned and we have to ask to change.

Had to wait 3 hrs for room to be ready at 5pm. Requested for non smoking room n accessibility access prior in advance but they didnt take note of our requirements.

Overall stay was good but we have moved to the other room due to aircon problem and water dropping from the ceiling in the 1st room. The 2nd room was ok. The green tea taste wasn't good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice ambiance during buffet dinner at the garden.

Experience was so so. 3 rooms were booked: one room was dirty. Wardrobes did not look clean. Towels had black spots. Family members in 2 rooms had mosquito bites.

Very nice clean non-busy hotel.. Love the hotel just not into the swimming pool as it was too cold and to walk there was inconvenient.. Rooms were clean and spacious.. Staffs were friendly.. Will definitely stay there again..
