"The only thing that let this stunning place down was the pool!! Cracked tiles, uneven serfice could of fallen and broken your leg on the outside pool terrace ( not even joking) far to small outdated and BADLY needs a revamp, went twice to get a sun bed there wasn’t any, loads out the back stacked up broken Come on guys a beautiful place like this, the grounds are to die for, Absolutly stunning Sort the dirty grotty pool area space out Only reason why wouldn’t stay again"

"I loved this hotel for the beauty of my room, the proximity to every thing and the staff was super nice … the only downside was it was hot in the room and the a/c was a gently whisper that didn’t cool the 80* heat. Otherwise, A+"

"Loved the character and position only a very short walk into Bath. Unfortunately during our stay was a heatwave so the four flight's of stairs were sometimes a bit much. Saw lots of places in Bath and on our last day, out of our window, hot air balloons went past to.us. Magical"

"The hotel is situated in a great location. The centre of the city is just around the corner and there is a very beautiful park just up the street. There is a heat wave in Bath and a lot of properties cannot have air conditioning. So, I booked this hotel because the listing on Expedia said it was air conditioned. When I arrived they showed me to a room that was not airconditioned. It was stiffling. I went back to reception and was told that I was in traditional wing of the hotel and those rooms...

"Absolutely lovely stay as a solo traveller. Has all the charm and feel of Bath I was so surprised when I turned the corner and saw the street of gorgeous Georgian townhomes I would be staying on. Location was perfect - walkable to everything and super convenient to be able to come back before dinner and not lose any time. My room had a stunning view of the town on the top floor."
