"On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id...

"The rooms were freezing and when we informed the manager we were told that the heating was broken. It was about 3 degrees outside that night and they didn’t even attempt to give us an electric heater or anything."

Talking to neighbour Lance was also fascinating as he carefully renovates next door in keeping with the Grade II listing. Ideal for special celebrations. Kitchen well-equipped. "Clean comfortable cottage, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, have used this cottage before and will prob use again only down side is parking but that is Brixham. "

"Large apartment right next to the beach. Clean, spacious and everything we needed. Space for the children, room for a small dog. The kitchen had a fridge (no freezer) and there was tea, coffee etc left for us. Really lovely aparthotel and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again."

"Perfect location by the beach and centre of town. The room was big enough for us and the beds were comfy. The hotel is a bit dated, however it was clean and had a nice lounge area with live entertainment each night which we enjoyed."

"The room itself was clean and tidy Staff were very friendly Breakfast needs looking at running out of eggs sausages with a full hotel is not good enough. Took ages to be served waiting in a queue. Saturday evening lift broke still broken Sunday morning lots of older people struggling to get upstairs not nice to see .Apart from this we had a nice weekend ."

"Firstly, £15 a day for the privilege of parking at the hotel and it’s on a first come first serve basis, is more the norm now bits it’s appalling, if you go out your not guaranteed your spot once returned. Tv didn’t work until I asked twice for it to be sorted and the fridge didn’t work and didn’t get sorted. However, it’s a lovely new/clean and well designed hotel. Comfy bed, lovely on suite and a great location for Paignton and close by Torquay. Overall we would go again!"
