"The property needs updating and the room is a bit small. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was very good, a good variety of food options; fresh fruits, cereal, full English with vegetarian options. And a lovely swimming pool. The property is in the heart of town so plenty of nightlife. The train station is within walking distance and the university is right there. One major downside is the car park… better to use one nearby, a lot cheaper too."

"Hotel is beautiful from the outside. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. Plenty of parking. Pool was great! Room was clean & beds very comfy. We had a twin double room. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from. Only criticism, walls a little thin & could the person in the room next door coughing & being sick! Otherwise really enjoyed our stay & would recommend. "

"I’ve stayed here many times. Rooms are clean, tidy and well looked after. The TV is very small though, so if you want to watch something, it could be a bit of a challenge. The hotel is in a safe countryside area. I like that there’s nothing else around, but others might prefer more nearby. Hot fresh breakfast is good, but the coffee isn’t great. I’d like to see more fruit and yoghurt options as I don’t eat a full breakfast. I’ll happily stay again. "
