"Great location for walking to Cowes centre and for the chain ferry to East Cowes. Comfortable room although very hot and impossible to turn the one radiator (in bedroom) off. Decent breakfast although some of the cooked items could have been hotter. Overall I would recommend and be happy to stay again. "

"Lovely warm welcome,having arrived on foot as we were walking around the island. Room newly and nicely decorated and very clean. Biscuits in room and coffee machine were nice extra touches. Excellent menu choice for breakfast . Evening meal choice also good and nicely cooked. We loved the sea view from the bedroom"

"I was greeted by staff in the pub in the evening with a warm friendly welcome. The rooms are in a separate annex so no noise can be heard from the pub. You are given a door code on arrival. The room was clean as was the bedding and towels. Quite a spacious double room with desk chair and armchair. The bathroom was clean The shower pressure wasn’t particularly strong but it was ample. "Excellent breakfast, with lot of choice. Same for meals in the evening. Friendly staff. Seating would benefit from seat pads(bedrooms & bar areas) Bedrooms - clean & comfortable...nice if hot chocolate was an option...also biscuits."

"Absolute amazing place to stay and the staff were so so friendly, always smiling, in a good mood and happy to help. The breakfast selection was brilliant from cereal to croissants to eggs benedict royale. Room was extremely clean on 1st inspection and was continued throughout the stay by the maids. Bar was awesome too. Dedicated parking too which was very helpful and not like other properties in area. We will definitely be staying here again 100%"
