"The hotel itself was fine, pretty standard hotel and everything was clean. The room had a full kitchen and a washer and drier, I think maybe this hotel caters to more long term stays. Our room was overlooking the Grey Eagle (music venue bar next door) and we could hear music until 3 AM. It was so loud and disruptive, I am shocked that other reviews haven’t mentioned this! This definitely ruined the stay for us."

The hotel was like a museum for the original jail with information on display. The room we stayed in had several original features of the old jail."

"The staff was friendly, especially the blonde lady at the front, forgot to get her name. Also, Ms. Kathy that was in charge of breakfast has the best personality. She takes pride in her breakfast making skills and is on top of having enough food to feed the crowds. I would definitely stay here again, felt very welcoming. The shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion provided in the room was also very helpful."
