"The suite I was in was very nice and clean. The room was quiet and loads of parking. Would highly recommend. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly. The lady that checked me out wasn’t that friendly and was more interested in other things. But would definitely stop again."

"My daughter and I stayed over for her best friends wedding. Hotel was lovely. Good was delicious on all occasion s we ate there. Staff was so very helpful and friendly."

"Hotel is a great price and is a little tired but comfortable and you have what you need for a stop over. Unfortunately chef took ill so couldn’t eat there but menu looked good. Instead they recommended the Dam Inn which was amazing food!"

"Was disappointed as I booked with Expedia, expecting to be able to use the facilities at the hotel. On checking in, I enquired about the facilities and was informed that if I had booked directly with the hotel, I would have been able to use the pool and gym and get breakfast included. To use the gym and pool, I would have to pay extra."

"I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening."

"The room itself was ok. Strange unpleasant food smells emanating from bathroom. Check in was well explained but tricky getting code on lock box outside in the dark. Relieved to be staying only one night and would not rebook"

"Room could have done with some TLC. Bathroom a bit neglected, plaster coming off, wallpaper coming away above window in room. Shower had no pressure, didn’t work properly and hot water was hit and miss. A bit disappointed to be honest as we stayed here 10 years ago and felt it has gone downhill. "

"We had such a lovely stay at this wonderful B&B. Comfy bed and the room was well equipped with tea and coffee, biscuits, water etc. We had no trouble parking. Breakfast was first class. "
