"What an amazing find. The property is in peaceful surroundings & totally fascinating, very unique, so special, the interior is incredible and totally compliments the era of this beautiful property. Karen the host is bubbly and friendly, we had a very welcome cup of tea and shortbread on arrival, served in the lounge. "The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. I couldn't fault any one of them but I would mention abby particularly. The service was impeccable and the food was very food. Breakfast was so good and there was a lot of choice. We had a pool room which was perfectly positioned next to the pool which was clean with loungers and seating. I would highly recommend a visit here and we will certainly visit again."

"Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here."

"Loved the swimming pool, that’s the main reason I booked this hotel, however it was very warm, too warm to do much swimming. Our room was lovely and clean, if not a little dated. The breakfast was really good and the staff were excellent. We didn’t get round to using the spa, so we will be coming back. I would definitely recommend"

"The location was perfect, staff friendly helpful and kind warning about the football. We were a little worried but was actually ok, only a little noise when England scored which we cant complain at. Loved our stay, cute locatipn and our evening meal was exactly what we needed."
