"Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again. "

"The room ( junior suite ) was cold as the radiators were not working when we arrived. Reception was informed at about 4,00 pm but nothing improved until several houirs later. Two electric heaters were put in the room and the radiators eventually came on. The 'fault', we weere told, was the room thermostst which was located outside in the hallway (???) and somebody had turned it off. "Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs."

"9/10. We are a family of four and stayed in the Resolution Room. It was exceptionally clean and very spacious, with two bedrooms and a huge bathroom. A small continental breakfast is provided in the room, including a pastry, cookies, yogurt, a selection of cereals, apples, juice, and milk. Nothing particularly special, which is why I rated it 9/10 rather than 10/10, but it was included in the very reasonable room rate and, as we are not big breakfast eaters, it suited us perfectly. "The inn was okay and the staff were nice. Couldn’t sleep though which is the point of a hotel. Had a road facing room and could hear every single car as it sped by. Torture. The shower was also maybe the worst I’ve had in the last 5 years of constant travel. Felt like someone held a pinched hose over me and there was no water pressure at off peak shower times. "
