"A Hidden Gem in Whitby! Our experience at The Beaches was simply wonderful, largely thanks to Tamsin, a genuinely perfect hostess. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and the location couldn't be better, perfectly situated for exploring the historic Abbey, fascinating museums, and charming pubs. The breakfast was a real highlight, delicious! We will wholeheartedly recommend this guest house and are certainly planning our return trip."

"The room was better than advertised as the bathroom was upgraded from the picture when booking. We paid for a sea view, scaffolding did obscure it a little but we could still see the sea. A light above the bathroom mirror would be good as the only light was above and shadowed your face. All staff we came across were lovely and helpful. Maybe a seperate range of lite bites in the bar would be nice. Parking was very good around the hotel as it is free Nov-March!"
