Top Whalebone Arch Hotel Reviews
Argyle House
10/10 Excellent
"Very Quirky B&B, all the rooms are decorated in a Goth style. Ideal if your looking for the 'Dracula' feel in Whitby. Big carved bed, very comfortable. If you run out of tea, coffee etc you just help yourself to more from the reception desk. Will definitely stay again."
La Rosa Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing stay at the la Rosa guest house. It's a very quirky hotel so if you something a bit different this is the place for you. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. Nice big bath and the bed was lovely and comfy. We will be staying there again and trying a different room next time as all the rooms are decorated differently with there own unique decor."
Royal Whitby
8/10 Good
"I have to say the royal is ( was ) a grand hotel,it is in a prime location, has a lot of style, it's showing its age in a lot of places . They're in the midst of trying to make the bedrooms more attractive. There is scaffolding on one side of the hotel not sure what they're doing but there is plenty to do in sure. We booked one of the standard rooms because it had a seaview,it was basic but ok for one night. The food in the restaurant was very nice and there's an extensive choice in the bar, excellent service throughout. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would choose the royal again but definitely one of the refurbished rooms."
The Dolphin
10/10 Excellent
"Great staff very attentive at breakfast was a great experience :)"
Saxonville Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I travel a lot for work to hotels all around the world and I can honestly say this was one of the cleanest hotel's I've ever been in... on top of this the staff were super-friendly and the attention to detail was better than some 4 or 5 star hotels I've stayed at. A proper, well-run independent hotel experience!"
The Beaches Guest House
8/10 Good
"Very friendly lady. Fantastic location. Tasty and ample breakfast. We were in a family room, which was a very good size for us and to put up a travel cot too. Parking was the only negative, but we were fortunate a street space came available as we arrived"
The Riviera Guest House
8/10 Good
"Very clean. Great breakfast choices and very efficiently served. Great location - most rooms have sea view. Only downside is no lift and we were on the 3rd floor of 4 - 58 steps!"
Kimberley House
8/10 Good
"Thanks for a lovely stay"
Broomfield House
10/10 Excellent
"The location of Broomfield is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the town centre. Our room was stunning, lots of space, immaculately clean and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay and if we're back in Whitby we will be booking in."
