"The hotel is older and needs some updates. The carpets need cleaning/replacing and the floor is worn. Other than that, the room was clean with the exception of the shower curtain which needed cleaning (not obvious until you open it up). Some nice touches such as 24-hour coffee in the lobby, free to borrow DVDs in the lobby and water and a jar of treats if you have a dog (we didn't). Complimentary breakfast was very good with hot items plus gluten-free cereal, bread and English muffins on request...
"So cute. Give you a good vibe. Texas shaped pool is unique and nice. And obviously right next door to the steakhouse just can't be better. Steakhouse offers food, shopping and bar with games. Family friendly or fun for a couple like us. "
"This hotel was built within an historic structure. The rooms are generous in size, and beautifully appointed. They are arranged around a four-story courtyard with a lounge on the ground floor. The first time we stayed, we were greeted by a jazz duo playing in the bar off the lobby—wonderfully calming music after a hectic day of travel and auto breakdown. An item I left behind was found and put aside for me for our return visit—great customer service!! "

"The rooms were very spacious and clean. Every staff member was beyond friendly and helpful. And always smiling. Breakfast was average, but they always made sure there was enough to go around. Pool was a lot of fun and hot tub was very hot. Would recommend!! "
