Safe, welcoming, amazing staff. Especially stephanie and arminia. I would highly recommend this hotel. Even for solo women travellers. I have stayed on my own and felt as safe as i did at home. If you need local knowlwdge the staff are always happy to point you in the right direction. Ok the staira are a mission, but...

"All was well overall however I found the cleaning was substandard, “clean” towels had long stands of hair in them. Daily cleaning was simply pulling the bedsheets on the bed. "

"Great place to stay in Amsterdam. Around 10-15 minute walk to metro station and bus stops. You can get to Central Station in around 5 minutes. Room was a bit tight, but clean and comfy beds. Cafe at the reception is good and great prices. "
