"This hotel is very worn! I heard they are going to make it into apartments! I would be ashamed if I were Whyndam! Our AC in room 213 was not up to par! Several other things I took pictures of was so outdated or worn. Very sad for our anniversary, pool was closed! If you want a bed and a hot shower that’s the only worth in this hotel! "

"We have stayed at the Barrymore a couple of times now and it is a great place to stay and convenient to a lot of things. We especially like that it is right across from the Straz center so we don’t have to park separately to go to immense there. We can just walk across the street. "Toilets didnt flush consistently in 2 different rooms we were assigned to. We had to pick the best. We were not offered any compensation for the defective toilets. We explained that we needed a properly functioning toilet due to medical issues but the problem was not resolved. Breakfast was sloppy and barely warm. The stairwell smelled and was filthy, worried about touching anything as you might catch something. Were told we would have a room attendant to clean and tidy but nobody ever came. "
