"Fortunately shuttle service runs until midnight so I still made the deadline. Room was clean, all staff was polite and accommodating, many eateries within walking distance like In-N-Out Burger, 7-Eleven, and others. Lobby is great, fitness area enough, fire pit, corn hole, many things to do. "

"This is an older hotel, but the rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff were exceptional. We checked in late and the front desk staff was professional and kind. I would definitely stay here again with my family based off of the services from housekeeping and front desk, overall cleanliness of the hotel, and the restaurant was delicious."

"A great hotel to stay at near LAX. The only problem is the shuttle is not reliable going to the airport early morning. If you are flying out on Southwest you can walk to the terminal in about 10 minutes. That is way faster then the shuttle from the hotel."

"Check in staff was very friendly, airport shutter was good, but every 30 minutes, breakfast was OK. The fire alarm testing was very annoying from 9:30 to noon, they had a speakerphone on the wall in our room, you can hear all the conversation and the alarm, we flew 15 hour from Europe, it’s hard to relax in the room. They did apologize and give us late checkout."

"When I first drove up to this hotel I was pretty dissapointed. The location is just kind of sad - right off the highway - trash and houseless folks. There is a super ugly chain link fence separating the hotel from the off ramp from the highway. Across the street is an ominous property that looks like it's about to be a data center. But overall I did enjoy my stay. The central courtyard with garden and pool offered a welcome retreat from the outer ugliness. And the rooms were comfortable, albeit...

"Eesssh...I was standing in the bathroom, and gunk started gurgling from the tub emitting a horrific smell!! 15 minutes later, and the bathtub was halfway full. It was absolutely disgusting! The hotel is such an eclectic, old school vibe; but, that truly ruined the vibe for me and has caused me to never want to stay in a "retro" hotel again. Other than that, seemed pretty safe, quiet (a bit thin on the walls) and cute. But that experience...let's just say we were in and out before checkout time."
