"Room seemed clean but outdated. Could hear all the neighbors above and below. Smoking was permitted at the eating area outside of the continental breakfast which was unfortunate. Breakfast seemed fresh but not a lot of options as expected. Bagels, toast, one flavor of yogurt and oatmeal/cereal. Overall, good enough but won’t be staying there again."

"The rooms are clean and spacious. Check-in is at 4 pm, which seems quite late. There is no gym. Breakfast is ok and you are done eating the same thing by day 3. However, most of the hotels in the area do not offer breakfast, so this is still a plus. The staff is pleasant, fast, and helpful. The Oceanview room was great."

"We love this hotel. It's within walking distance to Alvarado Street and other shops/restaurants, the rooms are always clean and a noon checkout time is such a bonus. The staff is always polite and helpful. We've never had a bad stay. The pool was cold this time and the lock is very janky, however My key wouldn't work and neither would the maintenance guy's, but he was great and got the gate open."
