"The renovation of this lodge was done really well. The room was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, the check in and out process was simple, the location is great and close to Diamond Peak. February 1st, and snow is sparse in Tahoe. We parked at the Brockway Summit Parking, but crossed the road and headed up the mountain on Spur Trail. It was warm and quiet. About a 2 mile hike up to the vista point, and the view was not disappointing! Gorgeous lake and the company of good friends.
