"For a 3* hotel, I can't fault this place. Room was clean and comfortable with modern decor, staff were super efficient and friendly without being brusque, communal bar / breakfast area was really cozy - would happily stay again."

"Had a lovely short break at The Imperial Hotel. It's a lovely old hotel, which is a little tired in places, but is otherwise well looked after. Room was spacious and had everything I needed - wifi worked perfectly, allowing me to get some work done. Could do with a new mattress in the room I was in and the pillows were too soft for me, but that is a personal preference. "The location of the hotel is good, close to city centre, railway station and The Barbican. Car parking is good and reasonable price. Reception is very welcoming and staff very helpful.
