"Stayed here for a Monterey/Big Sur weekend with my boyfriend, his sister, and her husband. Pros: It was fairly affordable overall, the hotel is very cute. We liked the property. The pool is heated and the hot tub is roomy. Rooms are cute with skylights! Great location. Reasonable pet fees. Free water. Cons: "Breakfast" was disappointing. Not restocked frequently enough by staff. We were standing around waiting for hot water, juice, milk, and coffee. There was only hyper processed packaged goods...

"This was an OK visit at the Olympic Lodge. It was clean but could use a bit of a refresher. The furniture was well worn and the bath had no bar in the shower/tub and needed updating. But I did love the shutters on the sliding glass doors to the deck, they were cool. If you don't do well on stairs, do not stay on the second floor. they are concrete and there are 27 steps with no mid landing. Location is nice, it was quite."

"I liked the historical ambiance. However we were never informed about the road construction that would be going on outside our window Wed and Thurs morning. Parking was terrible. Then on Fri morning there were street sweepers and garbage trucks. Never quiet and peaceful! Our friends spent more money and stayed in a cottage and said it was adequate. They enjoyed the spaciousness and the best part is the garden in the back. Wouldn't go again."
