"We are here for a conference held in Huntington Place. The location is perfect for airport shuttle. The stop is right in front of the hotel and shuttle only costs $6. It is also walking distance to the downtown with a lot of restaurants. First floor has a deli shop for some basic groceries."

"Enjoyed my stay at Trumbull and Porter. Only a few comments:
1. Staff was very friendly and nice. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Every employee we passed by in the halls greeted us.
2. Location is great. Within walking distances to restaurants, Michigan Central, etc.
3. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the bar, but it looked nice. Will definitely try next time.
4. Our room had a trolley with fresh towels. However, the trolley had some dust. Not a huge issue; I just cleaned the trolley...

"The room was absolutely ridiculous the vinyl flooring was lifted up to where I nearly sliced the bottom of my foot open. The bed was terrible and the shower hardly has any water pressure at all. Most of the rooms are vacant. Not because people have not rented them it's because they are completely destroyed and in need of serious renovation and I would even say demolition. All the reviews talking about how wonderful clean and nice the rooms are is nothing but a lie there is no possible way that...

"Very disappointed…no free bottles of water in room; had to pay $5.00 per small bottle of water. No room service was very inconvenient. Night staff desk lady was very rude with poor attitude. "The hotel was fairly new, but hadn’t been maintained. The room was OK but very dirty. All the corners needed to be cleaned. The tub needed to be cleaned. There was a lot of hair in spots. I had to wipe down the entire room before I used it. I only stayed one of my two nights because I was so grossed out. It’s an expensive staff was decent locations not bad but the construction is a bit of a pain."
