"The room was very clean and spacious. I booked the room with the garden, and became friends with the local cat and tiny lizards. It is a very mosquito-rich environment and the plug in mosquito repellent helped me loads to keep them out of the room. If you take the garden room too, make sure to get a mosquito coil. They are very cheap and readily available at the 7 Elevens close to the hotel. The reception staff was also very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at The Hive Hotel in Lamai the resort is lovely and very clean, the rooms are very clean and spacious, breakfast is excellent you also have an egg option just request with your server.
Pool is situated overlooking the beach with very comfortable beds.
The staff are fantastic and a credit to the hotel from reception to maids and restaurant pool staff all courteous and tentative to your needs.
We would definitely stay here again. "

"Excellent service from the staff and a perfect location next to the pier. We stayed here before our trip to Koh Tao and unfortunately forgot a few things in our room. However one of the staff members, named Sun, arranged delivery to Koh Tao for us. Such a kind gesture and warm hospitality. We will definitely come back next time we’re in Mae Nam."
