"There was no staff on site. I may have misplaced instructions that were sent to me, but I was not prepared for such a deserted arrival. It worked out in the end and it was a convenient place from which to visit surrounding areas of interest."

The included breakfast is home cooked with love. I was so impressed with Alnwick Lodge the first time I stayed here, that on my second visit I made sure to book with them again. "We stayed here around 8 years ago and when we decided to visit Alnmouth again we had no hesitation in booking here again. The hotel is modern, well decorated and the rooms very comfortable. The price was very reasonable and the fact that dogs stay free was a great bonus. Best of all were the staff, friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay here again. Parking may be an issue but we managed to find on a free on street space each day. "
