"Typical New York rooms are so small, our room at the Shelburne was far from small, great size for myself and my 2 teenagers. Every member of reception staff and concierge were super friendly but professional and when we needed some bedding it was delivered without delay… location also amazing, a quick walk to Grand Central which linked to wherever needed. "Was a wonderful hotel in an excellent location, would stay here anytime. The staff was wonderful and the room was very clean. Note: at the time of our stay the hotel was having an elevator problem ( very rare for them to have any problem ) at the time and we were having to walk to our room. However the hotel gave us wonderful options including free breakfast brunch, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries. So we thank the hotel for a "wonderful workout" and the bonuses. "
