"This was a perfect place to stay. The host couple are incredibly kind and caring. You can tell they truly put their heart into taking care of the whole property.
The room was very clean and spacious. Everything was well prepared — TV, microwave, coffee, towels, extra blankets — all thoughtfully provided.
The view from the balcony was beautiful. Occasionally, their rescued little cats would stop by to say hello, which made the stay even more special.
This is definitely a place I would come...

"Great staff, very clean room, Chef prepared some interesting food which made for lovely social evenings. Recommend everything except a couple noisy coqui frogs."

"Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout.
The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop.
The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. Useful kitchen appliances if you were thinking of...

"This was an amazing stay with a bouquet facility close to the park. The host had clean rooms and small touch’s around the room and property that made this a rememberable experience. "

"Our first time in Hawai’i, and this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Surrounded by lush forest and secluded, it was the perfect getaway. The central location on the island allows for east access to everywhere. We will definitely be talking about/recommending the volcano mist cottage to others. "

"The house was very unique and interesting, and with a lot of space. It was also close to the ocean which made it nice. The cochi frogs were kind of loud at night but it wasn't a problem for me at all. "
