"Room over looked the pool and fire pits. Nice hotel, room was nice and staff very friendly"

"The entrance to the Westin is gorgeous and grand! But...when you check in at the lobby and registration, you are unexpectedly transported to this very cheap, disorderly and unattractive area! The hotel rooms were very tired with old squishy mattresses (where were those Westin "Heavenly" beds?!) and the furnishings were homely and all bunged/chipped up ): I could never go into the adjacent adult pool to swim and enjoy the ambience, as the pool was very small, crowded and dirty. The surrounding "resort" grounds were more like an overwhelming bird sanctuary as the loud Canadian Geese have taken over the property and are squawking and pooping everywhere, including the river-like water scapes & fountains throughout the resort that are now filthy and stagnating with this bird poop turning the water a murky pale green! This place needs a complete overhaul, clean up and upgrade - and a plan to get rid of the Geese! "

"The poolside seating was comfy. The room was very spacious. I am not sure the extra $36 + tax for a resort fee was worth it. The hotel is in a fantastic location, one block from downtown, but was still very quiet. "

"I paid enough that I thought we were splurging on a room. However, the room was advertised to accommodate 5, but clean bedding was not available for the pullout bed. When asked for sheets we received a mattress pad and a small robe. On the 2d attempt we got a fitted sheet, a blanket and an explanation that the washing machine was broken. Plus, we were not informed upon check-in that Expedia doesn't collect the resort fees so that was an added charge at check-out. We won't return."
