"Was not impressed with DoubleTree. The room was out dated, musty and smelled of mold. We asked to be relocated but the hotel was sold out due to Penn Relay. The staff was pleasant and requested housekeeping to vacuum the carpet. But the smell returned. Buffet breakfast was ok but not much variety if staying multiple days. Next year we will return to Embassy Suites. "

"Overall the property is nice and mostly clean but there were a few occasions where guests spilled liquids, milk& cereal and the staff was very slow to have it clean. It was a surprise that there is only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel. Impossible to use unless you spend you’re entire stay watching and waiting for an opportunity."

"The maze left dirty sheets on the bed and a comforter had blood on it and everything. It was just nasty and dirty the comforters and the sheets on the TV didn’t work not at all. We had to keep going downstairs telling them about the TV and everything but overall everything else was perfect and except for those two."

"Perhaps, we had an off night for the cleaning staff, but my room was not clean to hotel standards. "I stayed at the Mendenhall Inn due to the fact that I attended a Domestic Violence Center of Chester County fundraiser in the Grand Ballroom on Thursday night.
