"Nice hotel away from the noise of the city but also very convenient location. Very nice staff. Rooms are a bit old and hotel is a bit pricey (there was as hidden fee of an extra 50$ per night to pay on the spot which we did not expect.) Would recommend if you want to stay at a safe spot in SF."

"I have stayed at this hotel several times and I always enjoy my stay. I love the tea/coffe bar and the breakfast options are wonderful. The lobby is very relaxing if you want a place to sit and relax. No complaints!"

"I was able to conveniently travel with CalTrain via the nearby Millbrae Station to Redwood City to have lunch with friends. Very friendly reception with answers to all of my many questions. My room has a wonderful view of SFO and never heard a thing!"

"The property itself was stunning. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The entire hotel was clean and well kept. The room was beautiful. The area around the hotel was rough. Construction everywhere and the homeless population was to the extent it felt unsafe to walk around. We witnessed a women drop her pants and defecate right out front in between two cars. Again properly beautiful but just watch your surroundings when not on the property itself. "

"Booked the room and reservation saod it slept 6, we have a family of 5 and we walked into a huge room with 1 king bed, we had to call for 2 rollaway beds but were charged for them. "

"Second time at the RIU and it was great. Got a free room upgrade at check in. My favourite part about this hotel. Staff are friendly and efficient at check in. Location is amazing so close to Pier 39 and very walkable. Breakfast is included and it’s so good. Beds are super comfortable and give me the best sleep I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. "
