"The building itself is truly impressive, with a sense of history and grandeur that makes a strong first impression. The location is also excellent, very convenient for exploring San Francisco.
That said, some areas of the hotel feel dated. The hallways in particular look old and have a harsh white lighting that feels more like a hospital than a luxury property.
The rooms have high ceilings and a good size, which is a plus, but the bathrooms are relatively small. The white lighting in the rooms...

"Loved staying here! Everyone working at this hotel were AMAZING!! I felt like they truly cared about me. The front desk was so helpful with ideas of what to visit and what to expect. The room was lovely and the restaurant food was delicious. I will return!!"

"Parking was difficult with automation. Difficult getting out. Need a gate person. Gate automated bar almost hit my hood. Valets were on their phones not helpful. Would consider not staying thete until they fix it. A five star hotel needs 5 star personnel. Not more automation"
