"The room was clean and warm, as was the bathroom. The staff were very helpful. However, the bed was quite uncomfortable. The springs made noise and pressed into my back whenever I moved."

"The bathroom was lovely and great toilet paper quality and towels, nice toiletries too. Nice tea tray and bed was comfy. However there was a gaping hole filled with cobwebbed pipes and the view out of the window was over bins. The room was cold but a portable heater was provided and sufficient. Dinner was great, the food was of an acceptable quality but the star of the show was the staff that served dinner. They were not intrusive, but were so helpful, a great steady pace of service. "Very good hotel. Cosy room, comfy bed and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying there. "

"We were refused service at the restaurant, when we told staff we were willing to wait they said no point you probably won’t get a table. Then we asked if we could eat in our room and they said no. Effectively giving us no food options we had to order pizza as we are unfamiliar with the area and there was nothing within walking distance."

"Shops were quit near but the hotel is not good it’s a old building with poor customer care. Note : there is not power sockets beside bed so keep in mind before booking "

"Room was nice, staff was friendly, gym was clean and well equipped. Breakfast had very good - recommended. Evening meal was average in terms of quality - probably better to go elsewhere. This hotel is charging for parking in a funny way which spoils check-in experience. This should be included in hotel price. "
