"The room was somewhat clean but it really needs a modernisation. As soon as you entered the room, you’d get this old carpet smell that was unbearable. The bathroom was old and bath had many signs of black mould on the silicone and grouts. The sink tap leaked water. Breakfast was mediocre. We asked for a 4£ “specialty” flat white which we could tell right away was straight from a cheap coffee machine. Amenities were ok, the pool area is very tired as well. "Excellent stay with an extremely friendly check in with a lovely lady called Joy on reception. Room was very spacious and quiet with a modern, clean bathroom and great shower pressure. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of free parking, nice restaurants and bars nearby as well as shopping. Will definitely stay here again when flying from Birmingham Airport."
