"All felt very dated. Walls and floors all paper thin, could hear everything from folks waking at 6am, with the addition of construction work right outside the window at 7:30am. Rooms, whilst clean, were basic and tired, and far too warm with no ability to adjust temperature. Pay and display parking (with no guest discount) is a bit odd too. Not sure what grants this a 4*, but it certainly isn’t. Get what you pay for. "

"A lone female traveller i was expecting something very different as reviews were very good. All i wanted as a quiet restful evening and sleep. The check in is at the bar, which was already busy at 4.30. The rooms are above the bar and some further away. I was told by the really helpful lads at the bar that there was a band playing that evening finishing at 12. My room overlooked the very busy car park which would have been very noisy at kick out. "A lovely little place hidden away in the countryside and very reasonably priced. The Room was light, airy, spacious and spotlessly clean. The Staff were very friendly and attentive. The Food was delicious. We will definitely come back again"
