"This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...

"Chetola is a beautiful property in need of some updates. We stayed in the main lodge building. Restaurant currently closed for renovation. Thermostat in our room was non working. Hot tub needed maintenance. Room was comfortable and would consider returning, especially after renovations are completed."

"This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs."

Just recommended an extra seating or a love seat In the room and maybe a warmer tone of décor. Otherwise, it's great value."
