The reserve is vast and there is plenty to see, the fact that there are various lodges across the reserve means even if you have a fairly quiet hotel, there are plenty of rangers out doing drives which helps your chances of animals being spotted and your ranger making their way there. "You’re right on the edge of the best reserve in the area & the game drives are all on the Shamwari Game Reserve. These are better than we ever expected & our ranger/guide, Cillia, was the best! "Eine Location mit sehr viel Charme, tollem Ranger Clifford, freundlichsten Personal, auch wenn die Eintichtungen etwas „in die Jahre“ gekommen sind. Für die Anfahrt über die letzten 14 km unbefestigte Straße sind sicher 30 min Autofahrt einzuplanen. Diese Straße muss man auch zurück, wenn der Nationalpark besucht wird."
