"I got to Kef Guesthouse after 10 pm on a Sunday night. There was nobody at reception when I got there. I went to the room assigned and tried to punch in the code to get into the room, I finally saw another guest who tried the code and also failed. "This was a meticulously clean, quiet hotel with a great location for arrival and departure days in Iceland. Its also close to the Gianta's cave and a lovely cliff walk, port and place to watch the northern lights on clear dark nights. The bed was incredibly comfortabel as well. We also enjoyed a breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Both were delicious. "

"You get to stay in a pod! How cool is that. The pods are comfy and the bathrooms and showers are clean. A 5 minute cab ride to the airport, and a 45 min bus ride or drive to Reykjavik. This place is perfect if you just need a place to sleep and to get ready for your adventures. Staying here and rent a car is the way to go. Also, Biryani is a short walk away and they have great food. "
