"Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. She is no-nonsense, but, I appreciate that. The outside property is clean with flowers and parking. Those almost Heaven views are quite special. The traffic on Oakvale can be heavy at peak times. The room itself was updated and absolutely charming! Coffee pot in room with coffee, microwave, refrigerator, cell phone charging dock to name a few amenities. Housekeeping will come in daily and tidy up; they do an amazing job and my room always smelled clean...

"The lodges are about 10 minutes from the town of Helen. They were quiet and peaceful. Room was nice and comfortable. The owners, the Johnson family were very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The property has a large (~5 acres) backyard that you can explore with your pet. We took our dog along and he enjoyed the woods. The town of Helen was also mostly pet friendly and had multiple restaurants that allowed dogs (patio sitting). We look forward to returning again...
