"I paid £40 for a double room for the night which I thought was a great deal. The room was clean and check in and out was easy and quick. I didn’t have breakfast and there was lots of on-site parking. The place is a bit dated but for the price I paid, I was very happy."

"Interior is very tatty and cheaply done. The plug in the bath didn't work all floors were peeling and lifting even in the bathroom and overall everything looked old and grubby. Very pleased we only stayed for one night"

"The hotel is a nice hotel.. Staffs are friendly and professional. There is lounge area with a work station if you want to work there. The rooms floor is well maintained, the carpet on the hallway look dirty. The car park has very limited space, better to arrive early for a space. Entrance to the lift was very messy on one of the night, and it was left like that until the morning, this should have been cleaned to ensure the cleanliness of the hotel. The room was very hot at night but there was a portable electric fan in the room which helped ( we did visit in the summer) The bus to Manchester was outside the hotel and frequent and was £2 for a single into the city centre"

"We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. "Oddly unwelcoming guest, mocked me for using Expedia upon entry to the property. Laughed about me essentially getting scammed for using Expedia and instructed me that I wouldn't be having breakfast instead of offering it to me. Tiny bathroom with a tiny shower. Instructed that you are forbidden from bringing food in to your room. Upstairs room had TV on full volume until 3am (it has been possible to restrict certain volume levels on TVs for over 20 years to prevent this issue). Poor parking at...
