"I paid £40 for a double room for the night which I thought was a great deal. The room was clean and check in and out was easy and quick. I didn’t have breakfast and there was lots of on-site parking. The place is a bit dated but for the price I paid, I was very happy."

"Interior is very tatty and cheaply done. The plug in the bath didn't work all floors were peeling and lifting even in the bathroom and overall everything looked old and grubby. Very pleased we only stayed for one night"

"I need a review for Hotel Football. It's easy to find, minutes from the tram stop. Check in was quick and easy. The room was super clean with a modern feel. Vimto in the fridge was the best surprise ever. Really enjoyed our stay. I did leave some items in the wardrobe which I realised on the train home. "The hotel is a nice hotel.. Staffs are friendly and professional. There is lounge area with a work station if you want to work there. The rooms floor is well maintained, the carpet on the hallway look dirty. The car park has very limited space, better to arrive early for a space. Entrance to the lift was very messy on one of the night, and it was left like that until the morning, this should have been cleaned to ensure the cleanliness of the hotel. "We arrived at approximately 9pm, slightly later than advised. Although the front door was locked, the manager (I assume) was still there, cleaning. He let us in when I telephoned and kindly carried our case up to the room. The room itself was clean, fresh, well equipped. However, the room was extremely cold on arrival. The room was very hot at night but there was a portable electric fan in the room which helped ( we did visit in the summer) The bus to Manchester was outside the hotel and frequent and was £2 for a single into the city centre"
