"We had a very nice overnight stay at the Crown. Staff were kind & welcoming on arrival, the room was clean and comfortable and well appointed, we had dinner in the restaurant which was really nice, drinks were a big pricey but I guess that's hotel pricing. Breakfast was really good, freshly prepared and very tasty. All in all really good, the only minor negative was the dated bathroom in our room, however the shower was really good, powerful and plenty of hot water so, does that really matter? "

The 'Tasting menu' is a delight on the taste buds and well worth every penny! As is the breakfast which is a wonderful way to start the day. It is situated over the road from the beautiful Cathedral in the heart of the ancient city of Ripon and well worth the opportunity to forget about the car and explore the city on foot. Well worth the money."
