"Upon arrival at the Grantham Arms, we were welcomed warmly by staff. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful on the Saturday before Christmas. Our room was well-appointed and very cosy. The decor was stylish and comfortable with plenty of cushions and good quality bed linen and towels. "Ideally placed in the centre of Knaresborough, we were welcomed warmly. The room was lovely with a generous bathroom attached. Plenty of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate sachets and fresh milk was kept in a small fridge. The chocolate was a nice touch alongside the complementary biscuits. It was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. We will certainly visit again. "

"Very clean, all the staff were friendly even though it was very busy in the build up to new year. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great. Chose it mainly cos it was dog friendly but would certainty go back without the dogs, is a short walk into Ripon centre and there looked to be lots of nice bars and restaurants. "

"Lovely, clean and very comfortable room. Loved having the option of a bath. Breakfast seemed to use good quality products and accommodating of any slight changes to the menu. All staff encountered were extremely courteous, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again should the opportunity arise."
