"A truly exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a lovely balcony, and the staff were very friendly. Fresh towels and toiletries were attentively refilled on the second day even without us requesting. The breakfast was delicious too, there were beautiful flowers and trees in the garden behind the restaurant. Both our baby and our dog enjoyed their time there."

"The location is really good. Its just a short walk into york. Free parking was a bonus. The room itself was nice but the pictures advertised on Expedia were definitely a false representation of the actual room. I chose the room as it stated it had a four poster bed and a bath with jets.
