Bar very poor and food definitely not al la carte but ok. Lady in cafe excellent- guys (not in suits) in restaurant could learn from her about customer service. Lifts speedy. Overall would use again but eat elsewhere. "

"We were delayed and got in very late. Breakfast that morning, the attendant was very accommodating and even brought food out for us after closing time out of compassion for our kids. Room was clean and everything expected. Kids loved the bunk beds. "

"This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. The food was good, we had a nice breakfast and paid for lunch in the bar. The hotel has multiple games including table tennis, table football, pool and arcade games, space invaders,...

"This used to be my school until 1982 and it has been lovingly restored into a beautiful hotel with great amenities in amazing grounds. Ample parking and a safe environment leads to a peaceful and relaxing stay. "

"First time I've stayed since it was taken over and revamped, personally, I preferred the older-style rooms. The location by the Thames is still a huge bonus. There is only one lift, which is quite small, a problem for disabled guests."

"We had a lovely overnight stay for my best friends birthday , she had a fabulous Driftaway spa treatment with the wonderful Charlotte , the setting of the hotel is beautiful & we enjoyed a leisurely walk around the lake . The room we stayed in hd everything we needed & we lovely & cleam . Food in restaurant was good with plenty of choice, the only small negative was that it was undergoing a refurbishment which limited us to access to bars & dining , but the staff were great , very friendly...

"We stayed at Thatcher’s Hotel (part of Surya Hotels) for three nights during half term. Overall, it’s an average hotel but offers good value for money. The rooms have been renovated and are modern and comfortable, and the beds were very comfortable which we appreciated. However, there were a few downsides.
