"The hotel is well positioned and presented, occupying a strategic location overlooking the town. The room occupied was on par for the standard of the hotel, albeit the slope of the floor in the shower made you feel as though you might tumble out of the shower. The restaurant felt somewhat cramped with tables sited at both ground level and on raised platforms, which gave the impression of either looking down on other diners or being watched. "We arrived to check into an accessible room. No help was offered to navigate a small set of steps to our room. No explanation of the amenities available or what time breakfast was served . The following morning our television didn't work breakfast was £16.95 for full english so we ate elsewhere. On our return after a lovely day out we were greeted with very loud music which all the guests had to endure as the events room doors were left open,so when we had to return to reception as our room key...

"Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling."

"The Hotel is set in lovely surroundings. Swimming pool is excellent. the room was small and a long way to walk to get to it. We had a large room facing the front gardens last time and prefer that even though it is a bit dated. The fried eggs they brought out for breakfast fresh from the kitchen were cold not certain how that happened.It was as if they came from the fridge."

"We were in the annex but did not enjoy this area the room is very basic and the heating did not work we have had better appointed rooms in less expensive hotels .the front of the hotel is in good decorative order but if you have a walk round the castle there are areas which are in a poor state of repair,when we walked around the grounds we were disappointed to note a lot of dog poo had just been left lying about this is something the care taker should be aware off . "We have just arrived home after an excellent weekend at hotel 52. The girls in bar and restaurant could not do enough for us, and the food in rango's was very good. The only downside was as the weather was very sunny our rooms were very warm as there is no AC. But that said we will definitely be back."

"Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel."
