"The front desk yelled at me and my husband for having our cat with us! It's a 100% DOG hotel. We paid OUTRAGEOUS fees to keep our cat with us this one time they made an exception. I would NOT stay here again. It was NOT worth what we paid per night. (No pastries at the continental breakfast.)"

"The hotel was great! You literally don’t have to leave for anything if you don’t want to. However, if you do like to get out, there’s tons of restaurants in walking distance. The beach is no more than 13 minutes away, and there’s a cool Kava bar right across the street. I truly enjoyed my stay and felt safe!"

"I came to this hotel at a time when I needed a safe and clean place for me and my children to be. This was our place. While we were here, I needed assistance of various kinds. I asked the staff for help. I think the gentleman's name was Carlton if I remember correctly. Very helpful. I needed help keeping my room clean. Housekeeping was there for me. "A truly wonderful property in a prime location. This was my third stay this month, and I’ve decided this is my exclusive choice for Melbourne. The upstairs rooms are exceptional, featuring vaulted ceilings, king beds, and thoughtful amenities like de-humidifiers and multiple mirrors (for you ladies). "My 10 day stay at PortD’Hiver B&B was a real pleasure. Great location, great rooms , great breakfasts, great staff, and quite possibly the best cookies I’ve ever had !! 😊 I only wish they had a restaurant on the premises, but there are several within a short walking distance. I’m looking forward to staying there again."
