"Room was very small and quite cramped. Was meant to be a suite, but not a chance was it Bathroom was so small you had to move to the side to close the door There was no aircon and the room was stifling; you couldn’t leave the balcony door open because of noise Reception were lovely and super helpful"

"Found 3 spiders crawling round Opposite are room a fire alarm kept on going off or something did mutiple times during the night and morning In the morning opened the door and asked what was happening staff didn’t know so that was helpful"

Asking about late checkouts told to ask on the day and told there would be a 20/hour charge. Despite saying I needed just 15-20 mins for a call - no compromise. No alternatives - just a simple computer says no! Found the place to be souless and not v warm. Paying close to 400 for 2 days - and I get the responses and feel of travel lodge! "Great location, and a good sized room. No air conditioning, and the fan provided wasn't that efficient. The wet room style of bathroom meant that shower water often pooled by the loo, (whose seat was a bit loose). I stayed for two nights and despite the notice that my room would be serviced from 10 am, when I got back to my room at 12.30 on my second day it had not been touched. "Great stay as always; it has gone through changes and upgrades over the past few years, since Tony sold up, but remains the same perfect Brighton base and not just for the LBQT community. Crew always friendly, rooms well appointed and no where I would rather be than on the terrace, when the suns shining."
