We were on a stay-cay in Brisbane for several days to attend appointments. We chose this property mainly on location - near public transport and all the shops we required. It did not disappoint in this regard, and I would definately recommend the property if location is the main concern.
On the whole, our stay was good, and the room we had was perfect for our requirements. However, it was quite run down - stains on the carpet and bedding (including the fabric bedhead), chips out of the paint, scuff marks on the walls etc. We didn't need to use all the amenities in the room - washing machine, cookware etc - but it seems quite well stocked.
What was a little off-putting was all the passive-aggressive notices around the room. Break it, you pay for it; ask for more, you pay for it. That sort of thing.
The property has a gym and pool, but there was a notice in the lifts saying it was out of bounds until further notice. Again, quite passive-aggressive.
The garbage chute is an accident waiting to happen. Again, a notice instructs you to make sure the bag is purshed through; this was rather difficult for me, and I'm glad I'm not a little shorter, older or weaker.
But like I said, it suited our needs perfectly and we would probably stay there again.
