Great place to stay for the night when we missed our flight. The pool looks great although we didn't use it. The room was nice, but there was really loud annoying noises through the night and in the morning.

Absolutely loved this place! I met a lot of great people from all over the world who were so interesting. I found a new love for travelling and will be hoping to book this as my official 1 week stay away from work as I commence FIFO. The staff were amazing, down to earth and socially friendly. I was greeted by name each day and always made to feel safe in the busy environment filled with beautiful strangers! The amenities and atmosphere is a buzz with workers and travellers sharing stories, food and knowledge of each others journeys and could sit and relax or enjoy a quiet drink by the pool or have a full blown BBQ! The rooms are great too! Nice, clean and even spacious for a dorm room. I actually felt sad leaving. I made a few friends from Italy and America and we've already planned a stay together cause we know we have Somewhere To Stay!

Somewhere to stay

It was nice community to stay and the whole hostel area looks amazing. Little bit too much rules and especially at evening places to be for example i do work in europe time so if phone meeting came was hard to find to place where i can be.

Weekend in Brisbane

We went there for 2 days, room was okay the mattress very hard. Bathroom need a little table to put our staff, and there are not enough toilets. Free coffee and the all day. The establishment has a good view and are to chill. Staff friendly

Lovely staff and clean bathroom and kitchen, cleaned daily so well kept. Bed was super uncomfortable, no towels provided and no bedside lamp, no fly nets on windows. Patio cleaning and Jet washing completed at 1:30am which was very noisy.

Stayed in a private triple room, room was fine, quite spacious! It was tidy and clean, though the bathroom kind of reminded me of a public bathroom (it was private though!). Only stayed one night and didn't use the kitchen so cannot comment on that, though it looked quite packed when we went in to grab some water. There were a lot of people staying here so it looks to be a social place but luckily it wasn't too loud around the rooms. The only thing was that it smelled a little bit of smoke around the property despite the no smoking signs. Additionally, the wifi had trouble reaching our room. Area seemed decent; It was a 15-20 minute walk to the river, lagoon area, and there were lots of places to eat around.

Relatively convenient location and decent cleanliness. But its floor makes a lot of noise when someone walks by. And there's always someone walking by even at 2pm. So it's almost impossible to sleep.

the place is nicely located, minutes walk from Westend restaurants and shops. The private room was very cleaned though had a bar fridge in the room that made a rattling soon all night! also, the other residents were very loud at night till 1 am, they appeared drunk though alcohol is not supposed to be allowed on-premises. so beware who else is staying there at the time, if you want a restful night. I needed an early night as had an early start but did not get much sleep due to the fridge, other residents as well as a loud drilling sound around midnight!!

Two-way Bargain: you get what you pay for

2/5 Star rating. Great location. Laid back style receptionist. Car park is always full however there is sufficient space along the side road. Although the rooms are dated, windows and floor boards squeak and traffic noise tend to flow in, othee guests are quiet and tidy. The bunk beds especially the top ones really are unstable/squeaks/ too small to climb up and down. Sleeping in can be a challenge with daily house keeping entering the room and vacuuming (which is nice to have a free service). Entry up the staircase, there's a strong repulsive smell. Quick and Easy booking/check out service.

Very loud until 5am, dirty

Worst hostel ever. Rooms smell and are dingy. 2 bathrooms to whole hostel and one door was always broke and wouldn't close. Didn't get any sleep due to other guest's shouting and laughing until 5am. Apparently there is a night manager who is supposed to stop the noise but didn't see the night manager or hear anyone putting a stop to rude people. If you are looking for a place to be awake for your whole time there choose this place otherwise give it a miss.
