"It was a very nice hotel. The history of the building was interesting."

"The actual hotel was fine, the area that its in is not safe. Just outside of the entrance there were homeless people laying on the ground and strung out on drugs. I didnt feel safe at all having my family in this particular area of the Bronx. Would never stay here again for that reason."

"The room was clean and spacious enough to move a stroller around. The staff at the Bar and the conceirge we extremely kind, and helpful and provided top tier reccomendations for local entertainment and food options. The pool was unfortunately still closed. Property was clean overall and easily found from the bus and subway stations, within walkable distance to the Apollo and lcoal shops."

When I first arrived, it took quite a while for the front desk employee to acknowledge me, as she appeared to be finishing up a phone call and working on something else. However, once she did, she was kind and helpful. The main issue during my stay was the temperature throughout the hotel. "There’s no place to park, unless you park a block away and then you would have to pay for parking. Not in a safe area to park. The area itself didn’t look safe."

"Did not appreciate hair in shower. Portable ac was used to cool room but did not cool. Room was still hot. Water pressure low in shower. Could not close shades at night do to remote not working. Lobby sitting area all had stains on couch, chair, etc. disgusting After hours key card did not work to gain entry to building."

"We checked in and stayed about an hour before we decided to check out and lose the $600 we paid for the rooms. Everything smelled like cigarette and pot smoke, there were no windows in the room, there was no security lock on the door. There is no lobby. The internet basically didn't work, and we had no cell service in the room. I had to make calls from the parking garage. It felt very unsafe and unclean."
